Launched in the summer of 2016, the X-Treme 26 has been developed with the top of the bigger racing yachts in mind, serving as an inspiration, and represents the best in terms of performance, design, construction and thrill experience.
Unique amongst her peers, the X-Treme 26 is built to last and to win, demonstrating outstanding up- and downwind performances in all conditions. Capable of sailing over 20 knots, she offers four racing solutions in one single boat:
1. One Design, with furling jib and masthead hoist gennaker.
2. Handicap, racing as One Design version.
3. Match Race, with smaller fractional hoist symmetrical spinnaker, easily removable bowsprit and hiking rail.
4. Virtual One Design, when equipped with an optional device recording wind speed, wind angle and boat speed while comparing the values with the polar diagram. After a race, the data will be available to view on a dedicated website, IOS and Android devices. This device also allows to virtually sail against X-Treme 26 in the real world, the winner being the closest to the polars.
Easy to tow with a regular car, the X-Treme 26 can be launched without the use of a crane.
